There is something majestic and wise about a tree, particularly an oak.
There are so many things about the life of a tree that parallel with our own lives, and they inspire me in the most beautiful way.
I also love how the Bible is constantly comparing us to trees as we are on our journey here on earth.
They will be called oaks of righteousness,
a planting of the Lord
for the display of his splendor. Isaiah 61:3
When I saw this tree behind Sammy’s in Prairieville, it took my breath away and all I could think about was, “Is there anything more glorious that could be used to display His splendor than this mighty oak?” My love of trees has carried over into my real estate career, and now when people see a cool tree they send me a picture or tag me in it. It has become such a fun game, and I thought I’d have a public place to store all of these trees that are right here in our home!
